By adding high-quality cottonseed oil—often called the "king of salad oils"—to heated spicy cod roe (mentaiko), we have captured its rich umami flavor inside the jar.
You’ll love the delightful, popping texture of the *mentaiko* (spicy cod roe); it’s so delicious it makes you want to sing for joy—and makes it impossible to stop eating your rice.
Of course, it’s not just for rice; it’s also delicious with bread, salads, and a variety of other dishes.
